Driver Education Courses in Grafton, Virginia

Turner Driving School offers professional driver improvement and education classes at our facility in Grafton, Virginia. We are conveniently located in the Hart Building, directly beside the railroad track on George Washington Memorial Highway.

Driver Improvement/Defensive Driving Training
When you have recently received a ticket, had an accident, or are a driver under the age of 20, chances are you will be receiving a certified letter from the DMV requiring you to attend a Driver Improvement Program. 

Turner Driving School can help with these dilemmas. Simply sign up and attend one of our Driver Improvement Clinics, held every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We will even contact the DMV for you to make sure you receive the proper credit for the class! 

Teens Behind the Wheel Drivers Training
This 7-day program provides full transportation for young drivers with pick-up and drop-off services. The course covers basic driving skills as well as defensive driving. At the completion of the course, the teen takes the DMV road test with our instructor and upon successful completion, the student is issued a temporary drivers license. The cost for this class is $235.

Classroom Instruction
We offer the 36 period program, which is required by the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles. This instruction also meets the driver's license re-certification requirements and provides an overview of the basic laws of driving.

It covers such topics as alcohol and driving and road rage and is offered in both a 9-day morning class or an 18-day night class. The cost for this class is $200 and is due at the beginning of the class unless previous arrangements are made.

Adult Behind the Wheel Training
This is a 5-day course, which includes one hour of driving per day. We pick up and drop off our students to cover the basic driving skills and focus on the DMV road test with preparation for the actual test. You receive all the practice and instruction you need for just $240.
